Went up to diamong lake for a half day of fishing. Started early in the morning and fishing was good. had landed 2 nice fish in the boat very with in the first 45 mins. Hooked a couple more but didnt land and then it slowed up for a little bit. we moved towards the lodge where they were catching the big fish in the derby the weekend before and it heated up again. I ended up landing 13 fish. Most of the fish were between 14 to 16 inches. It was a great day fishing and the trout were fighting good and were nice and fat. Im cooking some up tonight. I was just using rainbow power bait. nothing special but the lake is really producing some nice trout. Good luck to anyone else who heads up there.

Good job!! I want to go back sometime before the end of the season, probably in september. Some of the nice fat 16 inchers will be maybe 20 inches with the rate that they grow up there! Nice report.
