We went out with Todd Harrington of Big K Outfitters for another great day of fishing the beautiful Umpqua River. This time out we were searching for winter steelhead and as everyone knows the Umpqua grow them big and we were not disappointed.







We had 10 takdowns, hooked 6 and landed 4. Not to bad for a high river and very cold water. The next day his client had 15 takedowns and landed 8! We would highly recommend Big K Outfitters for any fishing on the Umpqua River. He also does bass fishing all summer long on the famous "loop" on the Umpqua. Below is a link to the video we filmed.

Very Nice guys...

Were those Tadpolly plugs you guys were useing ?? I caught a fish in the S. Ump last year that had a chrome and blue Tadpolly hangin off its beak. Must be a popular plug up there and obviously the fish eat em.

Yes, we were using Tadpolly's and k11's. Both of them caught fish.

Dang nice fish...I will be in Roseburg next week on the South Umpqua I hope we have a trip like that , probably wont be pulling plugs
