3-24-09-Tough fishing with a silver lining

Postby THE REEL TECH on Tue Mar 24, 2009 9:03 pm

Spent a wonderful day on the water with my good Applegate and his friend Richard. Fished hard from Whitehorse to Robertson in great conditions and great weather. Tough fishing seems to be the theme of the winter season and today was no different. Our hard work was rewarded late in the day when this BEAUTIFUL chrome beauty decided she just couldn’t let my jig drift on by her. Put up a good hard fight and a nice aerial display right next to the boat. Good to see there are still some fresh ones in the system. We also got 4 half pounders and a downer winter on the eggs and jigs.
Yes Chad............that is the famous PINK/ORANGE MOUSE JIG :D :D :D
