Had a fun day on the water with my good friend Jonny Boy (Toybox) and Dave. Got bit on a yarnie early which came off after a fast tussle :(( Toward the end of the drift............ Mighty Mouse and Minnie Mouse saved the day \M/ \M/ \M/

The water conditions were favorable to the jig fishing today.....I love it when the float slips under repeatedly!! :) :) :)

Very encouraging signs for the upcoming season. :D :D :D

Way to go Jon and John!

I know of other fish that wanted to play yesterday as well.

Good thing you guys have been getting all this pre-game practice in. Home improvement will be finished this week, and I will be headed to the crick. And hell is coming with me. :ymdevil:

Oh boy!! Nice job guys. :D I forgot to tell you John that the small steelhead I hooked the last time we were out along with about 12 trout came on a mini mouse jig!! :-o Two fish in a row in one spot!! It actually caught so many fish that it started to come apart around the head. Good sign of things to come. :-BD Again great job out there and hopefully the water stays just right for next weekend. B-)

Looking forward to hearing how the crick is as well. :YMPEACE:

And I heard, as it were, the noise of a screaming drag.
One of the four oarsmen: "Come and see."......... And I saw.
And behold, one bent rod among the group of drifters.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four boats.....And I looked and behold: a Rogue River Special. And his name, that sat on him, was Applegate.......... And Hell followed with him :ymdevil: :ymdevil: :ymdevil: .

George........those fish have no idea whats coming now that your home maintenance is complete.
Go get em Buddy :D :D :D :D :D

Reeltech knows what he is talking about, this is from The Book of the Revelation of John. ;) But he didn't finish...

the second voice said, "Come!" Then another drifter came out, a fiery red one :D
