Thats some freakin high water!!!
over the last three weeks here in gold bar washington we've had temps in the high teens to low 30's, and out here at my place i got about four feet of snow. VERY uncommon for the puget sound area. well, last night, as well as today the temps reached mid 50's. and its done nothing but down pour. a bad combination for a guy who can fish from his deck. one photo shows the water at low and clear, about as low as ive ever seen it, taken in mid oct, 2008. the other, taken today, shows... well... where do i cast???!!!

I know how you feel, we have been fishing in very high water the last two times out!! The river we fish normally fishes really well at around 6ft and dropping, well its been up to 14ft and 16ft and then we fished it at around 10ft and 9ft just before it was to shoot back up. Very poor water conditions but this coming week its supposed to be nice weather and the river should drop to fishable levels!! Yes finally, we should be in for some good fishing real soon.
