Nice pics guys......jealous!
Spent about 10 hours between Thursday and Friday floating a usually productive creek and a river with the same success less the last hours activity that you scored upon.
I saw about fifteen Thursday with definitively fresh hens and one on Friday. Some, I could've physically netted in the shallows they were so close. They didn't seem to spook too easily yet showed absolutely no interest in any offering. We attempted several jig colors, PW's, sucker spawn, spawn bags, wax worms and night crawlers. It was a bit frustrating, but the weather was enjoyable.
I can only presume they were off the bite as a result of migration priorities or the massive thaw that recently raised the levels in a big way. The waters have just returned to normal levels, but seemed to remain stained a little longer than usual.
Any thoughts???
