Chad and I hit the Siuslaw near florence today with 300 of our closest friends. We went 2 for 3 landing 2 nice chinook a 32" hen and a 35" buck. We saw a few other fish landed, but not red hot fishing by any standards. The coho we are accustomed to catching this time of year were no where to be seen, hopefully they are just running a little late. We got some good video of the fights so look for that in the near future.

I have never seen even half as many boats as were there Friday. I guess people are trying to get a wild coho before the season closes Sunday.
