I could not believe that our first coho of the year was a hatchery fish, after we landed 100+ coho last year and only found one hatchery fish. I should have know after that it was going to be a good day. About and hour later, another take down, and fish on. On a side not, I decided to forget the net to make things interesting. Well, Chad has vice grip hands and he easily tailed this nice chinook and lifted her into the boat after a nice fight.

We fished the next day and got blown off the water and the next day(Thursday) we fished for a couple hours, but no luck either days. We dropped the crab pots in the water all 3 days and got some really nice crabs. It was the best crabbing we have ever had. We got a few that were close to 9" across, so needless to say we ate good with some fresh chinook and dungies. We did not hear of many fish being caught. On the day we caught our fish the fish checker said one other fish had come in. Today, we heard of one that had been caught, but the crabbing has been spectacular.
Here is a quick-clip video of the day!
