Was driving down at o'darkthirty this morning, and 3 guys were on the side I like to fish, so as not to crowd, I drove across to the other side. Should of crowded...The 3 took up position right across from me, two were fishing off the bottom and the other was pitching a spinner, I hooked all of their stuff twice with my jig There was another guy who walked in behind them and was at the"right"rock. As I was freeing myself from the spinner guy, the dude on the "right"rock hooks a fish! Lucky son of a hey that looks like Chad from Steelhead Stalkers, was that you? I had no business fishing on the side I was on as the flow was too slow and had to cast way up to plant in, so I gathered up my pride and went down river to fish the town drift. It just wasn't my day...no fish for me Nice fish Chad...I think that was you.

Yep it was me! I got that first fish on the Pink Vibra Jig (32 inch hen). About an hour and a half later got a nice fresh hen about six pounds. It had four sea lice on it. I was lucky the guys that were at the hole before me were drifting as I knew I could hook a few in the right spot. The guy above me actually hooked three fish so I think there were more above but I got my two and headed home. Now I am back to tying jigs, it sure is what I needed though. All of the reports I was hearing was driving me crazy. I will post pics later tonight. To bad there were not any in town.

I saw the fella above you hook and pop off that fish right when you got back out. When you first hooked up he dropped everything and ran up to his rig to get the net, you might not of seen that while fighting your fish. His father was the older gent, they fish there all the time and are real nice people. He has netted 6(at least) fish for my son and i the last couple seasons. I should know their names by now! Well next time I'll come over and intro, untill then... FISH-ON

It was the regular size. You wont be a fry for long! They are nice guys, I have met them a few times.

This morning was the first float with a Crystal Piker (5"). Fished great and no barge wake on the real back. Can't wait to see it go under with fish on.
