Michigan Fall

Postby tils23471 on Wed Oct 14, 2009 2:12 pm

Well guys its been a pretty slow fall here in the Great Lakes, fish numbers appear to be down and with our current economic situation I am sure the stocking will be reduced as well. I have joined the unemployed club so I have had some time to get out on the river over the last few days. Fishing has been slow to say the least, have seen a few Kings brought in, some Steelhead and Lake Trout. Here are some pictures of the last couple of days.

A couple of Lakers brought in this morning

The big Laker of the day...I was 3 for 3 and my buddy almost got skunked, but got a small Walleye just before we left.....

Where do you fish for salmon in Michigan? I was born and raised there but never even knew we had any runs there.

There are runs all up and down the west side of the state, I live in Southwest Michigan and fish the St Joe primarily and its tributaries....
