I took my wife over to the McKenzie this afternoon for some fishing and homework for her. First cast with one of the UV spinners we were messing around with yesterday had a fish interested and it followed it four feet before I pulled up thinking it had picked it up. Next cast a steelhead turns and nails it, FISH ON!! It was a great battle that ended in my favor this time.
I hooked two other fish one of them on the silver and gold UV spinner I made yesterday. Unfortunately that fish shook its head, made a hard run, burst into the air and threw the hook. The third fish was a worm under a float! What a great four hours of fishing with the wife!
