Chad and I fished the Mckenzie yesterday morning for salmon aroung the Greenhorn launch. We saw lots of fish, but none were willing to bite what we had to throw. Then we headed up by the damn to try for a steelhead. There were not very many fish around. I caught one small, but bright 22" steelhead and saw one other guy walking out with a fish. We headed over to Dexter around 6pm and fished till 9pm. We caught a bunch of trout and that was it. There was one salmon caught by the damn. We saw it being weighed on our way out. It looked to be bewteen 15 and 20 lb's and in pretty good shape.
