I got my chance just before we had to leave and I finally got my roe down to the bottom in the funky current. I saw this flash in the hole and looked down as I pulled up and saw a HUGE fish rolling. It came to the surface and showed us how big he really was, it was easily high teens if not into the 20 lb range!! It made two more runs and some more rolling before it ran to the far side of the river and swam straight up river like it wasn't even hooked. I knew I was in trouble because there is a rock shelf that he was on the other side of and I could not get my line above it. Lets just say it doesn't take much for a 20+ lb steelhead to break your 6 lb fluro!!

You can watch the quick clip video of both of these fish below!
