03/30/09 exploration
Went to a coastal river today with the hopes of learning a new river and perhaps even catching a few fish. Some days the Lord just blesses you even though you don't deserve it. Today was one of those days for me. I landed 2 steelhead one 32" and one 20", caught 4 nice cuthroat, the largest one about 18" and to top it off got to see some of the most beautiful small stream steelhead water one could ever hope to encounter. We truly are blessed with some wonderful country hear in the NW. I made one attempt at a self photo but the fish wouldn't behave and my dog wanted to eat it real bad, so I let him go before things got ugly. Get out there and explore some new water. There's hundred of miles of little streams in Oregon waiting to be figured out.

Very nice Daniel. Sounds like a very rewarding and enjoyable trip. Time well spent with your 4 legged friend. Good job on the fish Buddy
