Chad and I hit the Alsea on the 1st in search of an early winter chromer. We struck out on the steel, but caught a few coho and a lot of nice trout, so it was a very enjoyable day. It was good to see lots of chinook spawning, it looked like there was a healthy run this year. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come for winter steel
