Just finished up a short quick clip of an awesome fight we had with one Hot steelhead on our trip out to the Trinity River in Nor California. This fish was hooked around 6:50am and there wasn't whole lot of light for the camera to work with but the microphone did a great job of capturing how hard this fish fought! I think this is cool little video and kind of unique.

What a fun fight it was. It jumped a few times before Daniel even got the camera on! It was a long time coming as I had not hooked a nice steelhead that size since the March. I had a fun few hours fishing with my niece on a local pond (Junction City). I heard that they stocked buck summer steelhead from a near by river in the pond so I went down to try it out. I threw out a dark pink wooly bugger micro jig with a piece of gulp maggot and was casting another rod for my niece when my float bounced, went under and started moving to the left at a fast speed! I dropped the other rod and just pulled up on my rod hoping there wasnt to much slack line out. What I felt surprised me, as it was a very heavy fish. It started rolling and flipping out of the water and I saw the size of the fish, it was big! It then decided to swim to the left and there was no way that I could stop it, it just swam like it wasnt even hooked for about 80ft. I tightend down the drag and tried to turn its head and luck for me it worked as it swam back twards us. A few minutes later I had the big buck in the net and I gave it to the guy who netted it. It measured 33.6 inches and weighed 13 lbs!! It got my steelhead blood going I can only imagine what it would have fought like if it had been hooked in the river. Anyway, Im fixing my computer after the graphics card went out but should have the whole trinity river steelhead video done in about two days or so.

Well, I just got done watching the finished Trinity river video, and I think its the best yet. Chad's getting really good with the editing, and a little better at catching fish
, any way I think everyone is going to enjoy watching it, it will probably be posted in the members section first. It should be up in the next day or 2.
