I might be heading down to fish Klamath Lake with my Grandpa and Uncle. My Grandpa's friend caught a 12 lb trout last week and they normally go to the same spot. What are some good techniques to use and what areas of the lake are good spots to check out? Thanks for the help.

Hambone and K-steel would be the people who know K-Lake I would think...

Never fished it, but would like to.

I don't "know" the lake at all and i've only fished it 2 times. There are definately Steelhead sized trout in there for sure.
Chad, if you're gonna fish Klamath Lake, GO SOON !!! It does'nt take much sun and warm weather to turn that lake into a dang Sewer. The 2 times i fished it we were trolling Rapals. We got a few fish but trolling aint really my thing. Chad if you have an oppurtunity to go by all means do it, there are some real pigs in that lake but like i said go SOON
