So today I got there, and there was about 15 other guys trying their best. Word was fishing was slow and guys had been there for hours plunking baits with low results. I kept my hopes high and with my second cast, I hooked a monster. Everyone scoffed with jealousy and said beginners luck. Third and fourth cast were same result. I caught 3 of the largest planter trout that I've ever caught (my last two of my limit were just normal sized planters). First was 20" and the other two were 19" All the guys were coming to me asking for tips! It took me about 50 minutes to limit and went 5 for 5. While I saw nobody else caught anything while I was here. I was feeling pretty awesome! I'll get a pic up really soon!

Ok bran_man, So if you aren't using bobbers or plunking, whats the big secret to catching these planters?

Ha ha chad is partially correct. My big secret is.... I don't really have one! Well sorta. I just fish a TON!!! About 4-5 times a week! Let's put it this way.... I fish twice as much as I work (even though I shouldn't ha ha) I'm sure what I was using was helping too, but it was my technique and skill from experience that was catching me the fish. There was another guy no joke, literally 3 feet away from me on the bank fishing exact same thing as me ( after he came over to see what I was using) and he still wasn't catching anything while I had one on almost every cast. So my "secret" is to get your butt out there and fish! Ha ha

Ps. Still haven't caught one as big as the monster chad caught in there though.... YET!
