K falls
I'm going to be spending some time in K-falls this week. I need some advice on some good bank spots to throw a crank bait or drown a worm. I'll be near Lake Ewauna where I'm staying. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Re: K falls
Daniel, any where along the park side is good. You will find a board walk that a lot of people do fish from. If you want to driver out 140 a long side the road where the highway meets the lake you will see lots of turnouts where locals go out and bank fish. Its only a 15 minute drive our there. If I had to choose I would try there first. They have gotten some nice fish around the boat launch area this year.
You may want to drive out to big R and pick up some frozen minnows. They seem to be what everyone uses. Keep your leader short where your bait floats just off the bottom. Don't cast to far out as the big boys are feeding of minnows around the rocks off the shore. Good luck buddy...........

Thanks for the info H. I think I'm going to get up early tommorow and try out along 140. I talked to some guys by the boat launch that said they saw some rolling early in the morning and I'm going to be throwing a jerk bait, so I think early is my best bet.

You might also want to check into the Link River which connects the upper and lower lakes. Seems like there was an article in STS about it in the last month or two. I have walked the trail alongside the river but never fished it. Some places are a bit brushy but there is some bank access I believe.
