umpqua river info....

never thought i would take my adventures to the umpqua but am actually going to do it. i know chad fishes that river and it would be great to get some info on where to go for a scouting trip. i will not take the boat my first couple of trips. is that ok? anyways is there any good bank access and what month do i need to go? really like the looks of those fish! real bricks!!!!! anything will help, point me in the direction and ill find em!

I think we will be fishing the Umpqua River next week and will have more info for you then! Good bank access on the upper North Umpqua.

There is good bank access at whistlers bend park and they have yurts for around $30.00 a night, that is where I stay every time I fish the N. Umpqua, lots of great water to fish there. Good luck!
