i was thinkin about goin to the rogue after work one of these days this week for one last chance at gettin a steelie. But im not sure if there are any fish still in the middle section of the rogue(I live in gp) . Any advice on what spot to focus on?

I was told to keep fishing steelies by Toybox cause I'm starting to pull my salmon gear out of the closet... So I'll still pull it out but might fish for steelies after this storm ends.

ya im kind waitin for this storm to end to to get out there too. ive had a heck of a time with the steelies this year. i just want to get into atleast another one before i get the salmon stuff out. ive only landed one steelie this year and ive lost 6

Thats cool i live about a mile from there on G street.
Anybody know of any decent spots for steelies this time of year around Grants Pass?
Does anyone know how the applegate has been fishin lately?

Dang... We live pretty close to each other then.
There's the cable/tv hole... Robertson Bridge... Baker Park... Chinook Park... One close to us, that I keep being told to fish... Tussing Park below the Pedestrian Bridge.
Could try across from Schroeder Park and also Lathrop.

Ya the only steelhead ive landed this year was at baker park on a gold spoon lol. ya ive fished all those except the pedestrian bridge and chinook. We usually fish down on the lower rogue by whiskey creek and down by tyee and do really well but i dont have time after work to go that far. I cant figure out the bobber and jig thing so i just drift eggs worms and yarn.
