Summers over GOLD RAY!!!

Postby greg on Fri Jun 12, 2009 11:00 pm

Time to start tying globugs and busting out the rods! And getting some lighter line on my reels!!! WOOOOOO!!! :D

Think I'm going to start working the area by my new house in the middle of july.

Anyone else excited for halfpounders, squaws and wading in shorts? Cause I definetly am!!!

Hopefully its the begining of a rebound for both steelhead and salmon this fall, but thats what we say every year!! I thinking positive and hoping the summers run is worth fishing for like it used to be on the rogue.

I got the most summers I've ever gotten last year... But then again... I fished for them more last year too... Got em all on Globugs! I should have my drivers license by september... lol So I'm hoping to fish jump off joe and some other good areas.

Do you think JOJ would be a good area to fish jigs?

I've never fished Jump off joe area but I'm sure they would have their place depending on water level and clarity!!
