Now, I am coming around to believe that I may of had some help
At the latest meeting of my local Northwest Steelheaders Asso. Phil, a guy that owns a spinner and brine co. spoke about his research into UV light and fish feeding behavior. He spoke of the way UV light is polarized
of reflected as a lure coating or dye. UV light frequncies(that fish use)are any that are over 360 nanometers, while visable light will travel in a water column (salt) down to a depth of 40
feet, any deeper, all colors fade to grey. So, how do Salmon/Steelhead see their lunch below 40', vibration and smell play a part but their eyes can process UV(a) and UV(b) down to 750 feet
!It was explained that shrimp as seen by a Salmon/Steelhead glows a pink body with green legs and can be seen up to a quarter of a mile away! Phil also said that a Steelhead sees another
Steelhead as a purple fish with a hot pink stripe on it's side, coooolll ( a mushroom in highschool had the same effect
) He said some lure CO's., claiming UV, show their stuff undera black light but all they have is fluorescent paint which will only work down to 40' then it's grey, fluorescent is not UV. It sounds like getting a lure to have the corect UV signature is the
Holy Grail. Phil said to remember the shrimp that was pink w/green legs, that same UV contrast has to be replicated on a lure to get the biggest and most frequent strikes. I was very
happy that he showed me the light, so to speek, and will look forward to Chad's line of new spinners
I am a changed man
Mojo still intact.

No batteries just electrolysis. With a spicial spinner wire and body parts he is getting the things to attract fish.

This guy was trying to sell his product but gave a talk that all should hear. He does have a web page but I am so happy with the Stalkers I don't want to promo
