We had a chance to get out and fish with Curtis Palmer of River Secrets Guide Service on the North Umpqua and had an amazing day on the water! We even hooked into a few of those fish you only dream about. 
This fish was right at 40 inches and was a mean, mean fish. I have never seen a rod more bent over just trying to get this slab to move off the bottom.

Of course we had to feed them some yarn.
