Us old dogs have a memory issue and these knots really give me fits.
Being around for a great many years I look for simplicity. Yep, that's it simplicity and nothing else. Let me see was that 6 wraps or 8?
You young boys who "horse em" in should probably use these , " was that 8 wraps" knot.




. Now I am going to have to learn another one.
No horsing fish around in this camp!

And I have the scars to prove it!!!






Especially ones like the 35 in hen Daniel get a few weeks ago. 6lb flouro that breaks right around 6lbs, he needed as strong of knot as possible. The rod can only give so much.
