ATTA BOY :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
Now, since you have been trying everything, which one worked for you today???
Remember what you used and what you did to to get that fish to bite, this will help you when met with similar conditions in other waters.
You might want to start keeping a log. Jot down the flow level that day, the NTU level (water clarity), color of lure (or note if you used bait), cloudy/sunny, and what type of water the fish was holding in.

Based on the background in your photo, you found that fish in deeper slower water. It was cold out today right? Dew and I got 7 fish today fishing deeper slower moving water. When the water is cold and the weather outside is cold, this is always a good bet as the fish are less active. You start keeping a log, or remembering the details of your successful adventures, and sooner or later, before you hit the river, you will already know on a given day where you should concentrate your efforts based on conditions. Its not a perfect science, and sometimes the fish will surpise you, but its a start at eliminating water. Good job!!

Thanks John! Funny you mention that because, I always always always keep a hunting and fishing journal about all of my successes and adventures. And if no one else ever finds them interesting, at least I will always be able to go back and remember all of my cool memories! The way Ive been writing, i"ll probably have a couple books by the time im 30! haha

Yeah thats a nice hen you got there Bailey. What river were you fishing? Hope you got her back in the water soon we need those native genes back into our river to produce more harder fighting fish for the future! Every native I have ever hooked has been more of a fight than any hatchery origin one.
