ATTA BOY
Now, since you have been trying everything, which one worked for you today???
Remember what you used and what you did to to get that fish to bite, this will help you when met with similar conditions in other waters.
You might want to start keeping a log. Jot down the flow level that day, the NTU level (water clarity), color of lure (or note if you used bait), cloudy/sunny, and what type of water the fish was holding in.
Based on the background in your photo, you found that fish in deeper slower water. It was cold out today right? Dew and I got 7 fish today fishing deeper slower moving water. When the water is cold and the weather outside is cold, this is always a good bet as the fish are less active. You start keeping a log, or remembering the details of your successful adventures, and sooner or later, before you hit the river, you will already know on a given day where you should concentrate your efforts based on conditions. Its not a perfect science, and sometimes the fish will surpise you, but its a start at eliminating water. Good job!!
