Hmm, yea it's been slow on the forum. I've been waiting on a head gasket so Chad and I can get back to doing some fishing. It showed up in the mail today, so we should be back on the water soon.

it's springer season on the rogue, what do you expect. i know chad and daniel have been slay'n em', but the middle and upper rogue. that's a different animal. the bank fisherman are floss'n the crap out of them. other than that, the fish are there. they just aren't bite'n. army corp. just finished spiking the river. now we need some stable weather. we'll see. until that happens reetech and i are bass fish'n. i love to fish. i don't care what's pull'n on the other end.

It just kills me to watch the flossing on the middle and upper river. It's a sore subject for me! Fishing the lower river we had to release all the natives only to send them up river to get flossed. Didn't make much sense , but not a whole lot ODFW does makes any sense. We have had one of our better years number wise this year. Lets hope a few make it so we can fish again in 3 years.

Me and jon are busy up here in Sitka. In a couple weeks, the pink(I think) run starts and then silvers. Fishing has been really good up until this last storm came thru.

Wow that is one monster Halibut. What did it weigh? It's got to be at least 300..

Seems some people do less fishing in the summer or less steelhead fishing! It will get busy around here again come fall when Chinook start then we roll into winter steelhead. Can't wait!

Seems all the NW fishing forums are pretty dead right now. Must be the Dog Days Of Summer.
Things will get much livelier by the middle of August i'm sure
