I had posted in the custom rods section a new Rainshadow Blank I had built. Well After having fished my new rod several times over the last month I finally got the new pole curse off it yesterday. Also I have been fishing pretty hard this winter with jigs trying to learn and improve the technique. Well it paid off. Time to do the happy dance. I got this one a white head jig, red body, white rabbit fur that had a white worm tied into the body. This fish had been in the river awhile. Not the biggest or prettiest but hey it is a keeper. After getting the fish on I new I made the right choice on the Rainshadow blank.
We put 2 in the boat and missed 3 so good day overall, besides being able to spend the day with one of my brothers and sister.

Interesting combination on the Jig, (white head jig, red body, white rabbit fur that had a white worm tied into the body) . I've just recently started working with Rabbit fur and like the results. Thanks for the post. Its always fun to spend the day with family.
