Dexter dam is picking up jigs are working as well as gold spoons. The bank fishing on either side of the river is good. If your going to float it you have a way better chance of picking up a few steelies. Dexter to pengra is about a four hour float with some sweet spots to stop and jig fish. If you google earth the dam you can get a good idea of what the river looks like no rapids easy float.
