Daniel catches all of the fish and I crop my face in there to make it look like I am part of the action.

Don't you know, all good fisherman have photoshop
Gregg - Just follow the steps in your jig fishing article and get to it. Daypack + feet + tackle + good bait + rods + general knowledge + effort = fish!!!! Maybe this means fishing less often so that you can fish more productive water. When you finally get there fish HARD. Fishing is fun, but once you stop paying attention your success drops away. In reality a person only needs to know a handfull of spots well: that is what time of year to fish it. . .how to fish it. . .where the fish lay. . .the optimum CFS. . .etc. Once you get this down you can begin to expect to hook up on each trip. And if your not, make sure your bobber stops not on its straw still

All joking aside there are some cheap, easy, things to remember: start an in depth fishing journal and don't slack off about it!, stay focused, fish HARD--for summer run I usually expect to fish first-last light. . .out the door by 2:30 am, and back at 10pm. . .maybe I'm crazy--fish less often in order to fish better areas. None of these cost money except for a small joural.
Oh. . .please don't stop the back and fourth it has been quite entertaining.
