Sorry to restart the single greatest thread in SS history but I got some more questions.

According to my buddy he says the amount of fish in the applegate is a lil less than half of what's over GR.. Im a lil curious what you all think of that.

Onto my last question... Flow is 696... Im thinking. :-? Best bet... Smaller water... Right?

My best bet is to tear up the tavern hole and probe it with my float the "greggy way", which if you havent heard... Is probably the wrong way, instead of targeting em from the bank in the big ole mean Rogue. lol So I have to talk to my dad and see if I can get the truck and take it over and tag out on a pair of snags. =)) L-)

I would fish the applegate everyday if I was you. B-) I like it at that level in the lower river and it should have good color. Get some good roe. :D There should be some fish around. Not sure about the whole numbers over GR and the applegate. :-\

I have some good roe. lol The hole I wanted to fish near the tavern was WAY to fast at 1000cfs so I hoping its fishable now... Im telling you if it is... I have no doubt I will atleast hook one... Water looks way too good... Fast water on one side with a slow side current on the other side! :-ss :-BD B-)

Go directly out from below the tavern and out onto that big rock point. Fish that riffle and seam and back your float right down to the big boulder. Fish it and fish it. \M/

I'll try that rock also... Isn't it directly across from that creek mouth too?

Chad, you da man. Thank you!!!! One spot that finally produce fishies!!! And it's nice to know what a fish feels like.

Hooked 1 steelie on a Cleo. Landed 2 cutties on roe. One rainbow on roe and lost a fish wasn't able to see, but he was pulling hard!!! One of the cutties was about 16 inches!!! Pretty bummed when i saw all the spots. :)) :(

But was fun.

Hook didn't stick good enough or he shook it free when he went airborne. The other one that I didn't see... Hook just didn't stick.

Saying you went 3 for 5 on :ymsick: trout doesn't count Greg... Sorry. Sorry no big ones today man. We had a pretty good day today!! :ymapplause: :ymapplause: Three fish on jigs and one on yarn. Only landed two. Had one almost close enough to net but the hooked pulled when is starting rolling and took off. The other fish we lost on a yarnie. Reeltech hooked all of them today. I love having that man in the front of my boat. He makes me look good!! :D

So you guys were on the Rogue? Looks like we might get lucky with the weather this weekend but who knows! Lets hope it gets real low, I hate all of this high, cloudy water. #-o

I'm not a licensed guide. So to me 3 for 5 can be mid teener trout! :p

maybe I'll be able to get out after this next rain.

Oh ya so I can clarify the 3for5 that's fishing not steelhead fishing. I'm happy I was able to atleast land something nice.
