Just wanted to get some feedback on steelhead heck I'll even think about catching shad .

I hear they are catching lots of shad on the umpqua and there are good numbers of springers in the main umpqua river and up around colliding rivers. I have not heard much about the summer steelhead on the umpqua but they should be showing up soon. I know how you feel, I haven't been out in about a week and I need to fish!! I might take my wife up to Diamond Lake for a few days this week then try the Willamette for some springers or summer steelhead.

Veteran,very bleak,mutch moss on the main,shad are spotty and the salmon run is late,only hope for them is Idleyld,a hatchery hole,pathetic. Water temps below Winchester dam 68dg.
