We went out for a day to fish with very low and clear conditions. We ended up doing pretty well with fish fish hooked and five landed!! You can check out the action below.

Non stop success for you guys

This winter started off a little slow for what we had planned but has turned on lately!!! We hope to get a ton of great video and hopefully some with you John before the end of this winter steelhead season! Thanks for your support and lets hope the fish start flooding into the Applegate and Rogue.

Chad what is the best time to fish down in your area i need to set some time to get down there. Not much going on up here (on the deschutes ). Do you know any good web sites that show how to get started on tieing flies or jigs?

Well the two major coastal rivers around where we live are very low and clear but whenever we get a good shot of rain and the rivers come up it will be time to fish the coastal rivers here. Now is when the bigger brood stock steelhead should be showing up and we have seen a few there were pushing the high teens swimming around our last two times out. I think youtube would be a good place to start to find some tutorials on tying jigs and there is a dvd "the art of the jig" that is supposed to show how to tie certain jigs and I hear its pretty good.
