Great site. I have fished since the young age of 6. Most big game fishing was done in Alaska for Salmon and Halibut on occasion. Pulled my first salmon when I was 12 (it was nearly as big as me). After moving to the lower 48 I mainly fished trout, bass (large and small), and pike up in northern Idaho. I then ended up here in Portland. First 5 years did no fishing (hate myself for that). I got stuck in the school/work routine. I recently started fishing again. I have hit up the Trask and Wilson both beautiful rivers. Been hearing a lot about Steelhead in these parts and it seems to have triggered an interest. Thanks for all the informative posts and the great site. Will be communicating soon.
