Dave Vedder & Steelhead Stalkers

Postby Knapp45 on Sat Dec 04, 2010 4:52 pm

Just wanted to update you guys.... I went to a Steelhead seminar at 3 River Marine in Woodinville, WA today.... First thing I noticed was that they had a full display of your UV yarn. Saw several people checking it out, and it seemed that the mixed packs you guys started selling were going quick.

Dave Vedder was one of the guest speakers, and even as a rookie west coast steelheader, I have heard of him. Vedder gave a good talk on float fishing and reading water. Vedder then gave you guys a great plug and recommended your yarn and jigs to everybody. He even had one of your micro jigs on his demo rod. I saw alot of guys checking out that jig after the lecture.

Just wanted to let you know what was going on up here, and to say keep making these good products.

Cheers

Thats awesome! He really enjoys the jigs and yarn and we appreciate his support of the products! ;)

We sent more yarn to 3 rivers marine than all the other shops combined and they figure it will sell fast! Thats crazy!! :-BD

Thanks for the report. We were wondering how it was going to go up there today.

I don't think we can get the material we use in a smaller diameter. It does however pull apart very easily, so if you want a thinner piece you could easily divide a piece in half or thirds.

Yeah, any smaller of a diameter and it would fall apart during our process. We tried initially but it did not work. I would cut some up into small chunks and put it in a small zip lock for the boat.
