G Loomis HS 930-GL2

Postby Winger on Fri Jan 13, 2012 1:56 pm

Hi all.
Just thaought that I should post these G Loomis HS930-GL2 that I built for a guide in Grants Pass area in Oregon. This is a 7'9" 8-15lb rod that is used for drift fishing. Hi grade cork grips with a Fuji graphite reel seat. Fuji BYAG single foot Guides with BLAG fly guides towards the tip. Wrapped with Sulky silver mettalic and Gudebrod Size A Black Mettalic threads on the guides with 4 coats of Bullards Diamond 2 epoxy. The butt wrap is more Sulky silver mettalic and Gudebrod black mettalic tiger wrap with silver and black on the bottom with 4 coats of epoxy and black mettalic and 1 sacraficial thread over that with 4 more coats of epoxy. The guide likes the rods and says they are "super sensitive". Best of all they are catching fish.
I hope that all the pictures load.
